In the camp inspired-space, kids play games, participate in sing-alongs, have dance parties, do arts and crafts, play video games, and more. Parents don’t even have to worry about picking their kids up at mealtime if their littles want to stay — meals are served to kids through Camp Ocean as well. Those looking for a fun workout in a group setting can partake in fitness classes such as yoga, pilates, indoor cycling, and boot camp. Additionally, the Cloud 9 Spa offers a variety of treatments such as facials, massages, and body wraps.

It was a bit too dry for me, so I didn't care for the taste, but you won't want to miss the presentation. After the show, "guests" (passengers) are encouraged to attend the "reception" (a dance party with the ship's DJ) in the ship's Limelight Lounge. Also scheduled are events that will allow you to make your own fish, which can be seen swimming by on the screens.

The Shores Zone (midship-aft on deck 8) is themed on seaside scenery (piers and beaches) and features a 3-deck-high (decks 6-7-8) fish art installation. Carnival Jubilee's main dining rooms feature select items from the onboard steakhouse, available for an additional fee. Traditionally, shipboard dining includes a complimentary Lido Buffet Restaurant. A special venue is the New England-inspired casual eatery Seafood Shack. It offers both indoor and outdoor seating and the menu includes steamed lobster, lobster rolls, fried shrimp, fried clams, crab cakes, and other seafood surprises. Seafood Shack serves lunch and dinner and is priced a la carte starting at $4.
The ocean theme
Those that aren’t have a reasonable fee, rather than the exorbitant fees we’ve seen pop up lately on some cruise ships. Carnival Jubilee balcony rooms are available in multiple categories from Deck 5 on up. Even Standard Balcony Staterooms have relatively spacious verandas. We stayed in a balcony cabin on our voyage and used our balcony a lot, thanks to a little extra space and a nice-sized table – relative rarities on some cruise ships. Carnival Jubilee rooms to avoid include those on Deck 5, directly below the Jubilee Theater or Grand Central, as noise could be a bit of an issue.

And kids dine free off the kids’ menu at Fahrenheit 555 steakhouse, Bonsai Sushi, and Rudi’s Seagrill. They are also 249 square feet with the same size balcony as a standard, but the balcony itself is more enclosed. There are 112 Cove Balcony cabins, and they can also sleep up to four guests. We loved this spot in the evening, when the sun was starting to set and crowds thinned. Pools and Hot Tubs on Carnival Jubilee
Carnival Jubilee has self-service pressing rooms on decks 4, 5, 9, 14 and 15 with ironing boards and irons that are free to use. Instead, passengers can send out their clothing for washing, pressing and dry-cleaning for a per-item fee. The second quarter involves pool deck games where passengers have to dress up in football gear to complete team races. Go one deck farther, and you can choose between the Havana Bar, which serves Latin-themed cocktails, and the Heroes Tribute Lounge, which has a special menu of drinks dedicated to military members. My favorite bar on Carnival Jubilee is the Marina Bar in The Shores zone on Deck 8.
A 4th show ("Amor Cubano - A Caribbean Dance Romance") is also available on the Horizon ship. When I sailed, the first quarter, which is all about pool deck games for kids, was held on one sea day, and the other three were held on another sea day. The adjacent fitness center is on the small side but features for-fee personal training and organized fitness classes, as well as equipment that's free for passengers to use.

By the end of 2017, the ship originally launched as MS Jubilee was no more. Food on Carnival Jubilee is good, with some fun surprises that border on great, and the variety is excellent. Entertainment, and a schedule packed with daily activities, is wildly fun and hits on a range that will appeal to almost everyone.
I stayed in an Ocean Suite (a type of mini-suite), and I was thoroughly impressed by the amount of storage space, which would have been more than adequate for the four people my room could accommodate. I was also floored to discover ample electrical outlets, including at least one USB port near every bed in the room — including the bunk that pulled down from overhead. These are great examples of how Carnival has paid attention to passenger preferences. When I sailed, I had a chance to see the full production of "Dear Future Husband," a show in which a group of singers and dancers boards a cruise ship for the wedding of two of their friends. When you're finished on Deck 7, the upper level of Currents, make your way up one more deck to The Shores, a beach- and boardwalk-centric zone that celebrates life above the sea instead of under it. There, you'll find the nautically themed Marina Bar, and the ship's deli, Beach Buns.
Entertainment on Carnival Jubilee is a combination of passenger favorites from other ships and new shows that you'll only find on this vessel. On Deck 18, you'll find Waterworks, which offers waterslides and a splash area for kids. I'm not a huge drinker, so I didn't personally try cocktails from the Center Stage Bar (Deck 6) or Grand View Bar (Deck 7) in Grand Central.
Of course, the highlight of this zone is the Bolt roller coaster. It's an added-fee experience during which passengers (one to two people per ride) zoom twice around the track on a motorcycle-style vehicle that allows you to throttle up or down to a speed that suits you. Outside, the area continues with The Patio, which features a pool and hot tubs, and neighboring The Watering Hole, a bar that serves the space. This meant it wasn't at capacity, but it still felt loud and crowded, and often was fraught with lines. However, the service was generally excellent, with an exceedingly friendly crew.
